About the Position

The Chambers of Advocate Anand Kumar Pandey, a distinguished legal practice at the Jharkhand High Court, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Associate Advocate to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for lawyers who are passionate about litigation, financial and forensic legal matters, corporate law, and IT-related legal issues.

The selected candidate will actively work on high-stakes legal matters, engage in courtroom advocacy, and handle a diverse range of cases involving civil, criminal, corporate, forensic accounting, and cyber law disputes. The position offers significant exposure to legal strategy, drafting, research, and direct client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Litigation & Court Appearances:
  • Represent clients in cases before the Jharkhand High Court and subordinate courts.
  • Draft and argue applications, writ petitions, and appeals.
  • Assist in cross-examinations, trial preparations, and legal strategizing.
• Legal Research & Drafting:
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, precedents, and case laws.
  • Draft and review writ petitions, affidavits, contracts, legal opinions, and agreements.
  • Prepare legal arguments and case summaries for court proceedings.
• Financial, Corporate & Forensic Law Compliance:
  • Handle cases related to corporate disputes, fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and compliance matters.
  • Work on financial misrepresentation, corporate governance violations, and taxation disputes.
  • Analyze forensic audit reports and assist in white-collar crime litigation.
• Information Technology & Cyber Law:
  • Assist in cases involving cybercrime, data breaches, and IT security laws.
  • Advise clients on data protection regulations and compliance.
  • Work on matters related to digital evidence, electronic contracts, and IT Act violations.
• Client Interaction & Case Management:
  • Engage with clients, understand their legal concerns, and provide professional legal advice.
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities, law enforcement, forensic experts, and financial consultants.
  • Maintain case files, track case progress, and ensure timely legal filings.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Educational Qualification:
  • LLB from a recognized university (Preference for candidates with additional qualifications in Forensic Accounting, Cyber Law, or Corporate Law).
• Experience:
  • [Specify, e.g., 1-5 years] of experience in litigation, preferably in civil, criminal, corporate, or cyber law practice.
  • Experience appearing before High Court, Tribunals, and Regulatory Bodies will be an advantage.
• Skills:
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

  • Understanding of financial fraud, forensic audits, and IT security laws.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex cases simultaneously.
  • Strong command over English and Hindi (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in legal databases (Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, etc.).
