About the Internship
The Chambers of Advocate Anand Kumar Pandey, a distinguished legal professional practicing at the Jharkhand High Court, invites applications for a highly engaging legal internship program. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for law students and young legal professionals to gain firsthand experience in litigation, legal research, financial law, forensic accounting, and IT-related legal matters.
As part of this internship, candidates will get exposure to real-life legal proceedings, drafting of legal documents, interpretation of laws, and interaction with clients on various complex matters. The selected interns will work closely with Advocate Anand Kumar Pandey, who specializes in financial, forensic, and IT-related legal cases, and will receive practical training in various aspects of litigation, compliance, and corporate law.
This internship is ideal for individuals looking to strengthen their legal research skills, enhance their knowledge of procedural law, and understand the intricacies of high-stakes legal matters.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interns will be actively involved in:
- Legal Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on various legal precedents, statutes, and case laws.
- Prepare research notes and legal opinions for ongoing matters.
- Drafting & Documentation:
- Assist in drafting petitions, writs, affidavits, legal notices, contracts, agreements, and legal opinions.
- Prepare case summaries and briefing notes for court hearings.
- Courtroom & Litigation Exposure:
- Attend court proceedings at the Jharkhand High Court and observe litigation strategies.
- Assist in case preparation, compiling evidence, and preparing legal arguments.
- Understand procedural laws, including CPC, CrPC, Evidence Act, and Special Laws.
- Forensic Accounting & Financial Law:
- Learn about forensic accounting and financial fraud detection in legal disputes.
- Assist in analyzing financial statements, fraud reports, and compliance-related cases.
- Information Technology & Cyber Law:
- Work on cases involving IT security, cybercrime, and digital evidence.
- Assist in matters related to data protection laws, information security regulations, and IT Act compliance.
- Client Interaction & Case Preparation:
- Participate in client meetings under supervision.
- Help in strategizing and structuring legal arguments based on client requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about law, possess strong research skills, and have a keen interest in litigation, financial law, and technology law.
Who Can Apply?
- Law students (3rd year and above in a 5-year integrated program or final year of a 3-year LLB).
- Candidates pursuing or holding additional qualifications in Forensic Accounting, Corporate Law, Financial Law, Cyber Law, or Information Security will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and research skills with an ability to interpret laws effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments efficiently.
